Lorelai Skirt Formula

Materials:

If your hip measurement is 40" or under

1 yd of 1.5" elastic

7/8 yd for skirt top

1/3 yd for Mini length(16.5" L) OR

3/4 for Midi length OR

1 1/2 yd for Max length

If your hip measurement is 40" or more

1 1/2 yd of 1.5" elastic

1 1/4 yd for skirt top

1/2 yd for Mini length(16.5" L) OR

1 yd for Midi length OR

2 1/4 yd for Max length

Add 4" to add 1" to Mini length

Add 3" to add 1" to Midi length OR Maxi length

For the patchwork Maxi: six to nine 5"x17" fabric pieces, and six to nine 3" x 17" pieces.

Choices are yours to make . . . Pockets are optional . . . and what length do you love. From mini to maxi, this skirt is versatile to what you love and what your needs are. The Lorelai Skirt Formula can be used with many fabrics from cotton to denim to lightweight wools.
