All requirements will make 2 pillowcases; I like to use silk duponi for the back of the
pillow to make it sassy.

For two 16 ̋  pillowcases
Four fat quarters
— OR —
1/2 yard of two different fabrics for the front and
back of the pillowcases
1 yard of muslin
Thread to match
Two 16 ̋  invisible zippers
For two 18 ̋  pillowcases
5/8 yard of 2 different fabrics for the front and back of the pillowcases
Thread to match
Two 18 ̋  invisible zippers
1 1/8 yard of muslin

Perfect Pillows

  • Two 16” pillowcases — OR — two 18” pillowcases
    All seam allowances are 5/8” unless otherwise noted.

    Perfect pillows will allow you to make pillow cases that look great, feel great, and they wear great. There is no reason to fear putting in an invisible zipper anymore. The steps of this pattern make it easy to do with professional results. How fabulous is it to take that pillowcase off to launder, or to even replace the old pillow form! These  instructions will give you the insight into making pillowcases for a variety of pillow sizes, so you can go nutty with pillows! Have Fun.
